Privacy policy

1. Controller

The operator of Parent Move Plan named in our legal notice. Email: support@parentmoveplan.com. We apply the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to everyone's data, wherever you live.

2. Visiting this website

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), processes technical data needed to deliver the website, such as IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and referring page, in server logs. This is necessary to run the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare processes data on our behalf.

Fonts are served from our own server. We don't use cookies or similar technologies that store information on your device.

3. Where you came from (no storage)

When you arrive from another website, for example a search engine or an AI assistant, our page may read the name of that website from the address bar or your browser's referrer and pass it along, as a short code, in links within our site and in the link to Stripe's checkout. It is not stored on your device. We use it only to count which sources lead to purchases (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. The sibling task splitter

The splitter's calculations happen in your browser. Names, hours and tasks you enter are not transmitted to us or stored by us. If you use "Copy link to this split", your entries are written into the link itself; anyone you send the link to can see them.

5. Buying the plan

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) and its affiliates. Stripe collects your payment details and receives the data needed for the payment and fraud prevention; we never see your full card number. We receive your name, email address, billing country, the product bought and the amount, to fulfil the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.

Your download page. When you open it, our server function asks Stripe whether the purchase is paid and not refunded, and which edition you bought. It does not store anything. It only releases the files for a paid, non-refunded purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR: delivering the product and protecting it against unlicensed sharing). The function runs at our hosting provider, Cloudflare.

The spreadsheet templates are provided through Google Sheets. When you open or copy them, Google processes data under its own terms and privacy policy as the provider of your Google account.

6. Emails after your purchase

We may email you about your purchase: a check-in about a week after purchase, a request for an honest review about three weeks after purchase and, for Core buyers, one note about upgrading to Complete. We do this based on our legitimate interest in supporting customers and improving the product (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Every email tells you how to stop them; replying "stop" is enough. We don't add you to a newsletter without your consent.

7. Emailing us

If you email us, we process your message and address to answer it (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Please don't send us medical records or other sensitive details; we don't need them to help you.

8. How long we keep data

Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (up to 10 years). Emails are deleted when they are no longer needed, unless a retention obligation applies. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Articles 15 to 21 GDPR). To use them, email us. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for our registered office.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Changes

If we change how we handle data, for example by adding a privacy-friendly visitor count, we will update this policy before the change takes effect.
