Terms of sale

1. Who sells

Parent Move Plan is sold by its operator named in our legal notice ("we", "us"). Contact: support@parentmoveplan.com. Full details are in our legal notice.

2. Who can buy

We currently sell only to customers in the United States. If an order is placed from outside the United States, we may cancel and refund it.

3. What you get

Parent Move Plan is a digital product: spreadsheet templates for Google Sheets (also usable in Microsoft Excel), PDF guides and printables and, in the Complete edition, additional templates and an AI prompt collection. What each edition contains is described on the product page at the time of purchase. You need a device with internet access and, for the templates, a free Google account or spreadsheet software.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Payment is processed by Stripe. The contract is concluded when your payment is completed; you receive a receipt by email from Stripe.

5. Delivery

Right after payment you are taken to your personal download page. It confirms your purchase with our payment provider and then shows your spreadsheet templates and your PDFs. The files are licensed for your family's personal use and say so on every page. Please save or copy the files. If you lose the page, email us and we'll send the links again.

6. License

You may use the product for your own family's move, including sharing your copy with family members and others who help with that move. You may not resell, publish or distribute the templates or guides, or offer them as part of a paid service, without our written permission.

7. Refunds

You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. We ask for one sentence about what didn't fit, but no proof. One refund per customer. With the refund, access to the download page ends and the license to use the files ends; please delete your copies. Details are in our money-back guarantee.

8. What the product is not

Parent Move Plan is an organizing tool. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, insurance, medical or care advice, and it does not recommend or place anyone in any community. Decisions about Medicaid, benefits, insurance, powers of attorney, care, dementia, medications and property should be made with qualified professionals, such as an elder law attorney or your parent's doctor. Requirements differ by state and community; always follow the instructions of the community and your parent's care team.

9. Liability

We prepare the product with care but cannot guarantee a particular outcome of your move. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law provides otherwise. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the damage typically foreseeable at the time of purchase, and in any case not more than the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

10. Changes to the product

We may improve the templates and guides over time. Your purchased version remains usable; improvements may be offered to existing customers at our discretion.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you buy as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws of your state of residence.
